A minimalist Mediterranean villa designed to feel fresh, timeless, and instantly appealing in the Balangan market

Morten Villa Balangan is a one-bedroom villa designed in the Balangan area with a minimalist Mediterranean approach that feels clean, light, and visually distinctive for the market. From the beginning, the design was directed toward creating a building that feels simple yet still has strong visual appeal. The massing was kept efficient, with calm lines and balanced proportions, while a bright Mediterranean-inspired palette helps give the villa a fresh and timeless character for potential buyers. Although the overall expression is minimal, the architectural details were carefully considered to maintain a clear identity. On the upper-floor facade, a planter box was introduced as an accent element, adding visual depth while bringing in a more natural and lively touch. This approach creates a balance between simple forms and a warmer, more personal atmosphere. The outdoor area was designed to remain light and natural. The pool deck uses stepping elements with minimal finishing, allowing the material expression to feel more honest while keeping the overall appearance clean and understated. Overall, the villa was conceived as an efficient and marketable product with a strong identity, minimal, warm, and visually compelling within the Balangan market.
